治療編　Remedy and Treatment

これから治療をします。
I'm starting the treatment now.

　注射をします。 I'm going to inject the shot.

皮下に hypodermic　　筋肉内に into the muscles　　静脈に intravenous

臀部を出してください。 Please expose your buttocks.

腕をまくってください。 Please fold up your sleeves.

　点滴が必要です。 We need to do an intravenous drip injection.

　輸血が必要です。 We need to have a blood transfusion.

これには次の時間がかかります。 This will take about the following time.

　約（　）分 about (　) min.　　約（　）時間 about (　) hours.

　局所麻酔のため、注射で麻酔をします。 I'm injecting a local anesthetic.

　全身麻酔が必要です。 You'll need general anesthesia.

眠くなります。 You're going to get drowsy.

　消毒をします。ちょっと痛いですよ。 Let me sterilize you, It's going to hurt a little, O. K ?

　傷を縫う必要があります。 We need to stitch the wound.

　傷の麻酔です。はじめは痛いですよ。 Here's an anesthetic for the wound. It's going to hurt at first.

　止血のためタンポンを入れます。 Let's insert a tampon to stop the bleeding.

　異物を取り出します。（目・耳・鼻・喉） Let's remove the foreign object. (eye, ear, nose, throat)

　喉に薬をつけます。 Let's apply some medicine on your throat.

　目に薬をさします。 Let me drop some medicine in your eyes.

　数時間かすんで見えますが、自然に治ります。 Your vision will be blurred for a few hours but you'll get over it naturally.

　それは、しないでください。 Please don't do that.

　それはできません。 I can't do that.

　我慢できます。 I can bear it.

　自宅で経過をみます。 I'll stay home and see what happens.

　湿布をしておきます。 Let me apply some poultice.

　変形を矯正しなければなりません。 We'll have to correct the deformation.

　ギプス包帯をします。 We'll apply a cast.

　痛いですよ。我慢できますか？ It's going to hurt. Can you bear it ?

　すぐ手術をしなければいけません。もちろん、入院が必要です。 We need to operate immediately. Of course hospitalization is a must.

　入院が必要です。 You need to be hospitalized.
　　　この治療には For this treatment　　精密検査のため For more close examination

　手術が必要です。 You need an operation.

　入院の必要はありません。 You need not be hospitalized.

　入院の上、経過をみたいと思います。 We'd like to see the progress of things once you're hospitalized.

　入院・手術について説明します。 Let me explain about being hospitalized and about the operation.
